  This place is always a delight! The beer is good, the food is good, the atmosphere is excellent, and the prices aren't half bad. I go here whenever I get the chance; you won't regret it.

  Surprised that such a cool place like this exists in Springfield! Nice location downtown Springfield. Has great ambience with cool seatings (wood farm tables, benches, and some high tables and chairs). We only had drinks and appetizers so can't say much more about their full menu; they did seem to have a good variety than are $10-14 an entre, can seem a bit pricey. We tried the garlic herb fries because it sounded good but was a bit disappointed that it was slightly over fried bar fries with just minced garlic dumped on top ($7!). Good selection of non-alcoholic drinks like lavender lemonade and it tasted great!

  Food is awesome and super creative.
  BEER CHEESE BEER CHEESE BEER CHEESE. The Springtime ale and the Whiskey Barrel Aged Pilsner are damn fine brews and the wait staff was super friendly (and pretty dang cute too)...will be frequenting this establishment forsure.

  Yes, Springfield needed a pub. And perhaps for the locals, this is a fine place. It has a nice mural of Ken Kesey on the outside. They give a passing nod to Odd Fellows via naming a beer after them. (As an Odd Fellow, I'd say that's a dubious honor.) It is clean and the beer is acceptable. The decor is the same old obligatory black and white photos of the local important community members, the walls are made to look rough. However, a soaring ceiling that makes every sound ten times louder, a not so great thing when small children are present. It takes more than good beer as far as I am concerned, to rack up five stars. As I often eat at pubs, I can say that the really good ones have one thing that the others do not. Customer service and wait staff who care. I did not see this here. So, three stars for this pub. I'd give it two, but the beer was decent. Note to brewers: there are dozens of brewers out there brewing decent beer. We went out of our way to eat at Plank Town today. I won't be going out of my way to eat at this pub again.
